Currently, if you have twitter, you can help people in oppressive nations. Change your location to Tehran, or another oppressed area. It makes it harder for Irani authorities to locate ringleaders and imprison them.
If you have twitter, you can help folks in Iran. A friend forwarded a message to me asking if the “call to action” in the email would actually work and it seems very plausible to me that this can help if enough people do it and occasionally comment on the issue.
